Huzzah!!!!! It’s sooo close I can smell it! That’s right kids, the single is in the LAST STAGES OF PRODUCTION!!!!!!!!!!!! That faint sound you hear, like a steam train a mile away? That’s me breathing excitedly at the prospect of you guys enjoying some classic Giles Halski music so very very soon :) Good times, great moments, and it’s all for YOU!!! Hooray for music, isn’t it the best?!
Whilst watching Bill & Ted’s Bogus journey, I realised I don’t give out of love, but merely out of a sense of duty, and so am on a path of seeking love to be able to give genuinely and generously :) Still, I’m gonna finish watching the film first! (I’m at that epic bit where they’re falling to hell to meet satan - classic!)
Guys guys guys!!!!!!!!
Jonah Matranga is playing at Hamptons Bar in Southampton, UK on Friday 27th May, and I’ve been lucky enough to support him!!!!!! You guys have to hear this guy, and come to the gig!!!! Tickets cost £8, but it’s totally worth it, the experience will be amazing, and you won’t regret it!
Check him out on youtube, myspace, all the regulars and you’ll see what I mean, this is a big deal!
Anyways, hope you’re good :)
Peace x
Yo yo yo! I hope everyone’s enjoying the awesome weather at the mo.
I know we here at team Halski are; this weekend we embarked on the next stage of pop domination, by getting merchandise pics ready… seriously, you would not believe how cute the photos we have are. Honestly, if I have kids, I want them to be this cute!
But yeah Boys & Girls is coming along nicely, so peel back your ears for the summer track that is going to be a classic foot tapper, along with B-sides Game of Life and Friendship. Ah yeah!!! Word to your mother (and father), this is the shiznit!
But seriously, how are you?
How many people truly know when they are not ill? Or when they have recovered? I certainly don’t know myself as well as I think I do, cos every time I think ‘I should probably get back to work’, I do, and then feel ill again! Does anyone have a good sign or practice for really knowing when your body is capable of work stuff after illness? I’d be extremely interested to know… :)
if at first you don’t succeed, then give up suicide, it’s not the way forward
The sun is shining, the birds are warbling, what a start to a day. Ok, admittedly it’s almost halfway through the day, but it’s still a beautiful experience :0 I might even write a poem about it later, if I feel the inclination… good times :)
Have you ever tasted the delights of porridge? I’m eating it right now, and it’s got this bizarre consistency, almost like wood shavings in PVA glue, but actually nothing like that. Goes well with a bit of syrup tho :) Please let me know if you’ve had any interesting adventures with porridge, I’d love to hear about them!
Just been checking things out with the health peeps, and apparently I suffer from SAD, which is seasonal affective disorder… And here’s me thinking I was just being lazy grumpy and insular! Heh heh! Who knew? Still, it’s ‘shed light’ on a few things! What a bummer!
La la la la la la la la la… Just working on a new song :)
How difficult it is to see the light at end of the tunnel, even thought you know it’s there :) I always find that when I’m struggling with something, the situation completely engulfs me, and I all I can see is the brick wall.
But the growth that you gain from breaking down that wall is always the stuff that spurs you on to reach the next level, and let’s be honest, you are worth the pain :) As am I. As is everyone.
Just remember when you face that brick wall - YOU CAN DO IT!!! You are bigger than any wall that you come up against, and when you look back at that wall, it seems so small from the other side.
Heh heh, you ARE worth it :) x
